Hang In There

So after playing with the bright oxide inks I fell in love with them.  I immediately had to go out and buy the other colors. I was experimenting with the darker inks on manila tags I recently purchased at my thrift store. I bought roughly 200 for $2! might be seeing a lot of those in the future. I created the background with the inks and then spritzed water through a stencil to give a fun look.  It actually reminded me of an animal print. Freshly Made Sketch #290 is a simple sketch that allowed the tag to be a top border.
Club Scrap papers and stamp. Pretty Pink Posh sequins. Tonic Nuvo drops. Ashland burlap.

  1. This is a really lovely card. I love the warm of the colours you've used! Thanks for joining us at FMS this week!

  2. The background is lovely. Great sketch card!

Hot Chick

I've been honored by the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers and named the newest Queen of Snark (which is shocking for some of you).  This title comes with the honor of being the guest designer for the new Farm challenge. I wanted to create a farm feel to the whole card right down to the embellishments.  I think chicken wire, feathers and twine should do it:) Club Scrap papers, ribbon and stamps. Impression Obsession background stamp. Darice embossing folder. Recollections feathers. Inside of card: A true friend is one who thinks you are a good egg even if you're half cracked.

I hope you join us over at the Sisterhood and share your farm creations.
