Pattern Play Double Z

Yesterday's blog debuted the fun double Z fold card in this month's Pattern Play's Greeting to Go. I really fell in love with how these cards open to reveal a surprise greeting. This "Hello" is one of my favorites.  I just love how this first panel only displays the "hello" tag but when you open the card you see the "What's up" tag.  Now this design is straight from the instructions that come with the Greetings to Go. However I was inspired by the fabric print in the photo from the Card Concepts #75 Challenge and used a laser die cut panel on the front of the card. I purchased a whole pad of these laser die cuts on clearance.  Super bang for my buck!
Club Scrap papers, tags, ribbon, eyelet and acrylic dots. Recollections laser paper.

  1. Great layout of your card - very creative.

  2. I haven't made a fun fold card in a while - your beautiful card has inspired me to have some fun with folds again. Thanks so much for joining us this week at The Card Concept.

  3. Oh, I love the fun pattern play and wonderful modern feel to this. So glad you could join us at The Card Concept.

  4. Ooh, I really like how that die cut piece really makes the whole card "pop"! What a fun challenge!

I've been honored by the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers and named the newest Queen of Snark (which is shocking for some of you).  This title comes with the honor of being the guest designer for the new Farm challenge. I wanted to create a farm feel to the whole card right down to the embellishments.  I think chicken wire, feathers and twine should do it:) Club Scrap papers, ribbon and stamps. Impression Obsession background stamp. Darice embossing folder. Recollections feathers. Inside of card: A true friend is one who thinks you are a good egg even if you're half cracked.

I hope you join us over at the Sisterhood and share your farm creations.
