Halloween Webbing

If you're looking for a great variety of Halloween stamps, you've got to check out the wide selection at Just for Fun Rubber Stamps. I received several soon to be released stamps and had a fun time coloring these adorable images.

A fun way to create some interesting backgrounds is with Webbing Spray. I love using this webbing with my Halloween cards. Spray a 12x12 paper outside and let dry for a few minutes for easy dimensional background panels.
Just for Fun stamps and sentiment. Club Scrap papers. Krylon webbing spray. Martha Stewart punch. Chameleon color pencils.

We would love to see your Halloween projects. By joining our challenge you're eligible to win a gift certificate to the Just for Fun store

Special Sketch

June's Card Sketch Challenge over at Club Scrap is a fun linear one and even comes with cutting directions. Thanks to Roni there is little paper waste when creating these cards. I wanted to use the use cut-aparts from the Pattern Play Greetings to Go so I opted to not use the trimming guide.
I created the background using spray webbing which is my favorite art medium with this collection. Washi tape is a perfect substitution for the paper strips on the sketch.  I have several dozens of rolls of washi and try to find any excuse to use them. Nuvo drops were added to the splashes for dimension.

Pattern Play Webbing

Before Pattern Play even hit my doorstep I was creating some background panels in preparation. It's been awhile since I've played with my webbing spray, so it was time to get messy. I actually spray panels inside my outdoor garbage can so there really isn't any mess for me.  If not, I do recommend lots of newspaper and spraying outdoors is a must.

You can get some great designs with using a light spray, heavy spray or spray at an angle. I think the one on the left looks like jellyfish.
Here are the cards created with some of the panels. I used various tags and elements from the Pattern Play Greetings to Go kit and the Deluxe Collection.

Webbing

I was introduced to spray webbing at one of the Club Scrap retreats and immediately fell in love with it! I found a long lost can of silver webbing in the back of my scrap closet and decided it needed some love. Set up some newspapers outside and spray.  A few special tips: it's smelly, messy and the results are more dramatic on darker paper.  Let dry for about 20 minutes.

Red, Black and White Webbing

I'm in a lull right now as I wait for my new Club Scrap kit to arrive.  This is the time that I get caught up on layouts, projects and Greetings to Go kits that have been neglected. So, I decided to pull out some non-CS stamps and create.

I'm a little behind the times but I am SO IN LOVE with the blueprint stamps by Tim Holtz! I've been dabbling in these stamps and having fun.  Can You Case it? has a new challenge using red, white and black.  The timing is perfect for this challenge as I had just created some background panels using white webbing spray paint from Krylon. I first learned about this product at a Club Scrap retreat several years ago and actually stumbled across two small cans of it at my local scrapbook store. It makes awesome backgrounds!

Club Scrap papers and sentiment, Tim Holtz stamp, Copic markers, Stickles and Krylon webbing paint. Lace from a swap. Pearl by Queen&Co.
