Lost in the Right Direction

When I first saw the sneak preview to the Alpine collection I knew I needed EVERY thing.  The papers, the stamps, the cards and of course the digital kit. I've been on the road for most of the month so I've only had time to create with the digital collection.  It's beautiful! I love the frames included with this hybrid kit.  You can use them digitally or print and cut them out for your paper scrapbooks.

This kit isn't necessarily "snowy" but I love how the colors coordinated with my photos from Iceland.

Winter Pinecone

Can you believe it's almost Christmas!? I hope this has been a wonderful holiday season for you all.

I love pine cones!  I usually buy bags full of cinnamon scented pine cones to fill my house for the holidays. I remember collecting cones as a kid up at our cabin.

Just for Fun Rubber Stamps have several pine cone stamp images with this large ornament stamp being one of my favorite. I stamped it in brown ink, colored the top with a silver metallic pen and then fussy cut. By using white stipple mist I added a touch of snow.

You're Getting Old

I was crowned "Queen of Snark" for the Home challenge over at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers and am honored to kick start their last challenge for the year: Rude Christmas. I don't know about rude...but I do find this quote quite snarky.  Please join us over at the Sisterhood and link up your creations.

Let's Toast

I hope you are all having an amazing holiday season!
Ribbon is one of my favorite embellishments for cards. It's flat, easy to adhere, relatively inexpensive and I have TONS of it.

Be Merry!

Can you believe it's December!? I hope you all have a fabulous holiday season. This month's challenge at Just for Fun Rubber Stamps is to create a card for any holiday. How simple is that? Just pick your favorite holiday, create a card and post it on our linky party.

I was inspired to create this midnight snow scene by a Jennifer McGuire video on Perfect Pearls. I wanted to use products I already have and was delighted to finally use my pine silhouette stamp. This card uses the second stamping of a watermark ink and perfect pearls. I spritzed the background with the new Club Scrap white Stipple Mist to add snow.

We look forward to seeing your holiday cards!
