No One Listens

Happy Thursday!
Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is hosting another fun challenge: H is for Home.  I had an idea for this challenge but that got derailed when I stumbled across this gorgeous, neglected collage stamp from Club Scrap's 2003 Hearth & Home collection.

WassUp Foxy?

Paper Smooches Stamps is hosting a mood board challenge for November. This type of challenge allows for all sorts of inspiration. It's one of my favorites.

I was attracted to the little fox and the colors from the mood board and created this box stand up box card. The instructions for cutting and scoring this type of card are included in the Gone Wild Card kit.
The card folds back to lay flat for easy mailing.

BeYoutiful

Happy Thanksgiving my crafty friends!

I am grateful for your continue encouragement, support and gracious comments.

I've recently been rediscovering my distress oxide inks and their potential to create some magnificent backgrounds. I first created this panel by dipping my paper into the brown and yellow inks pooled on my craft mat.
Just for Fun stamp. Ellen Hutson die. Club Scrap papers and ribbon. Pan Pastels. Ranger oxide inks.

Stamp the wheat spray three times without re-inking to create some soft sprays. Adhere die cut title. Flick gold Pan Pastels on art panel with paintbrush and water. Create a three part bow and attach to card front.

There is still time to share your artwork in our Color Challenge.
We would love to see your creations!

Have a blessed day!

Isn't it Wild?

I'm loving the new Gone Wild digital hybrid kit from Club Scrap. How fun are all the animal print papers and strip?!  We recently brought home two new members to our family and this theme goes great with my photos. They are 100% wild ones :)

I hope you are enjoying this fall season. I've almost finished my Thanksgiving cards. Next up is working on the Thanksgiving menu. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays!  I'm super excited about it this year.  My brother and his family will be in town to celebrate.

How perfect is this soon to be released harvest bundle image for fall?!

Small Art

Now that October Retreat has come and gone I'm trying to complete the projects we created in workshops.  We received a fabulous stamp carving tool as a free gift just before taking the Small Art Workshop.  I have to be honest...it was quite therapeutic carving those little erasers.

I love how you can get multiple images on one eraser.  I even carved vines on the narrow sides.

Just for Fun Color Challenge

Happy Thursday!

Can you believe it's November already?!  In California it doesn't' really feel like fall yet.  It was 87 degrees while typing this post. Ugh.

Thank you for joining me today as Just for Fun Rubber Stamps begins our Color Challenge for November.  I absolutely love this color combination!

Even though these beautiful colors symbolize fall, I went in a different direction. Stamp this sweet coffee cup with hearts and color with Copic markers. Stamp the sentiment leaving room to wrap twine. Fill the heart with clear Nuvo for dimension and shine.

Just for Fun Rubber stamps. Club Scrap papers and charm. Copic Markers. American Craft twine. Tonic Nuvo Drops.

By sharing your brown, red and orange creations over at Just For Fun you could win a JFF gift certificate to our store.
