Card Keepers

Wonder what I do with all the cards I make?  I put them groups of 8 with envelopes and give them as gifts.  I love making pretty card keepers for presentation.  Here are just a few different types including ATC and business card holders.

Jacob's Ladder

My dear friend loves succulents and air plants. So I thought this would be a fabulous and fun gift for her birthday. It's a Jacob's Ladder album. Once completed, hold the Jacob’s Ladder vertically and flip the top board. Watch the remaining boards go cascading down in a fun, interactive fashion. Completing the project "correctly" can be challenging so NO wine beforehand! I highly recommend watching the video once before and during the assembly. I'm not kidding here...one wrong move and you'll have a bunch of coasters!
When complete, fill with photos. Don't worry about the ribbon placement, each time you flip the album the ribbons change from one centered to two side by side.
The kit comes with papers to complete an adorable box to keep it safe.

Easy Dozen Album

I started this project at the 2015 Club Scrap October Retreat.  We made the Easy Dozen album and trimmed the borders and tags in class but I never got around to completing the pages.  We have a wedding coming up and thought this would be a great gift.  I'll tuck in a gift card too since they're a young couple just starting out. If you visit the Easy Dozen blog post at Club Scrap you can see Karen's finished pages.

All Time Favorite Retreat Project

It is no secret that the Clipboard Collage workshop is my all-time favorite Retreat project EVER! The simplicity of this project allows any crafter to create works of beautiful art. I've shared other clipboards in the past and have one final one to share. Now that Christmas is over,  I don't have to hide the photo. I really love being able to use bulkier embellishments with the project.

The collage prints are back in the Club Scrap Pro Shop so run to order more before they're gone again!

Wedding Clipboard

I have been having so much fun creating these collage art pieces!  I first learned about these collage clipboards at the Club Scrap Retreat and now I'm an addict. I love being able to use up all my little embellishments and more importantly the bulky ones. I bought several of the pre-lined pages and created Christmas calendar gifts with them.

This clipboard collage is the one straight out of retreat. I used our wedding photo on this one. This one is for me :)

Club Scrap papers, ribbon, tags, leaf and charms, washi tape. 7 Gypsies word strips.

I'll share more with you but keep in mind I placed a digital tag over the photo to keep it a surprise from the lucky recipients.

Club Scrap papers, ribbon tags, charms, leaf, flower and bottle caps. Buttons from clothing. Docrafts calendars. 7 Gypsies word strips.
Club Scrap Hops & Barley collection. (No longer available)
Little clothes pins added to hang notes or other photos.

Club Scrap paper, wood embellishments, shells, stamps, vials and charms. Hobby Lobby driftwood. Memory Box flower die. Docrafts calendars.
Club Scrap Beaches Collection. (Paper no longer available)
I'm going to fill the little vials with sand.
Wooden oars stamped.

I've got several more to complete on the horizon that I would love to share with you.
But for now, I'm enjoying the cold, snowy weather of Canada!

On the Go Album

Don't you love handmade gifts? I enjoy giving and receiving this treasured pieces!  My dear friend's birthday was coming up and I wanted to give her something with photos of her family. This On the Go album was included in the Creative License Deluxe kit but can be purchased separately. It's constructed with CD folders and papers. I've learned to complete projects when they first arrive and then save them for the right celebration.  That way all you have to do is fill it with photos.

 The completed album.

There are several pockets in the album created by the folders. I created large tags to add more photos. Here's a link to the video on creating this adorable album.

It's a simple gift that adds so much joy!
