Colored Texture Paste

June's technique challenge brought to you by Club Scrap is to add texture to your project with pastes.  I just happened to have this mini jar of transparent paste that I didn't know what to do with.  I didn't want a translucent image so I mixed color bursts with it in hopes of it not coming out translucent. The color was a perfect match with this month's Pattern Play collection.  The paste looked fantastic on the white cardstock but disappointing on the darker backgrounds.
Club Scrap papers, stamp and stencil. Nuvo crystal drops.
It was difficult to get a photo. Sorry for the glare.
Now it's your turn to create with texture paste. Be sure to add your work to the Linky Party for a chance to win a Club Scrap gift certificate.

  1. That was a clever idea to tint the clear texture paste...glad it worked out. Great cards!

Hot Chick

I've been honored by the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers and named the newest Queen of Snark (which is shocking for some of you).  This title comes with the honor of being the guest designer for the new Farm challenge. I wanted to create a farm feel to the whole card right down to the embellishments.  I think chicken wire, feathers and twine should do it:) Club Scrap papers, ribbon and stamps. Impression Obsession background stamp. Darice embossing folder. Recollections feathers. Inside of card: A true friend is one who thinks you are a good egg even if you're half cracked.

I hope you join us over at the Sisterhood and share your farm creations.
