I've been trying to make a card for a one layer challenge, it's just not working out for me. My style is to add some fluff to my cards and this was just too much outside of my comfort zone. So I gave up. Yes...I'm a quitter. However, I'm still playing with my Paris Flea Market Greeting to Go kit, loving everything about it and thought this key charm was perfect on the side of the sentiment. I created this this card for the Retro sketches challenge. While the top and bottom edges really screams "washi tape", I couldn't help add the paper lace.

I hear ya. One layer cards nearly always look to me like someone didn't put enough work into them. I guess I just like my layers. :)
