Getting Messy!

We're getting messy this week for PSL (Pro Scrapbookers League). Today I'm using up some color burst panels and left over webbing panels. I'll have a blog on the webbing this week to show how fun this art medium is.

When I first received the Woven Strands kit from Club Scrap I immediately thought of our family reunion after seeing the stamps.  The tree and quotes were just screaming "family".  I gathered up my photos, chose the papers that complimented my photos and then found a layout in the Idea Deck that worked with my photos.  Here I chose the 5 of Clubs from Volume V. I left a few elements out and added a few of my own. I really liked the woven circles but they were 12x12, so I just cut them down to meet the 8.5x11 requirement for the directions.  I added one of my favorite quote stamps from Tahiti on the paper strips.
