Just Sitting Here

Hello fellow crafters!  I've been blessed with being a member of the Just for Fun Rubber Stamps Design Team.  JFF has decided to discontinue their Design Team and monthly challenges.  I'll miss all the creativity from my fellow team members. 

In May I created a few backgrounds using Stipple Mists as a stamping medium. This set of trees were stamped on photo paper as an experiment and I love how the ink interacted with the paper.

I Sea What You Did

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is hosting a "S is for Sea" challenge.  My favorite snarky sea quote is one I've used before repeatedly so I thought I'd branch out to one I've never used before.  It's not so much snarky as a pun on words. The background is Distress Oxide Ink blending and I've been experimenting with different color combinations. 

Club Scrap reef and sentiment stamps. Paper Smooches stamps and dies. Ranger Distress Oxide Inks. Tonic Nuvo drops.

Happy Thursday!  Can you believe it's August already?!

With the hot summer days upon us, I find myself indoors coloring and staying cool.  I recently received this adorable flamingo stamp and just couldn't wait to use it.  Add some lightweight, fun  feathers for a perfect embellishment. Don't forget a catchy sentiment.
