Welcome to the Club Scrap Firecracker linky party.

My favorite item in this month's Firecracker collection is the fabulous multilayered stencil! The creative possibilities with this stencil are endless.  Inks, Spackle, and texture pastes just to name a few. This example uses Versamark ink and metallic embossing powders.

Nail Polish Marbling

I love learning new crafting techniques.  This month's Club Scrap technique challenge took me by surprise.  The steps are so easy resulting in spectacular marbling art panels.  All you need is nail polish, water and a container. You can see detailed instructions on the Club Scrap blog. 

1. Fill a small container with water. I used a Dollar Tree plastic sandwich container. 

2. Add drops of nail polish.  I actually just poured in colors of my favorite Packer nail polish.

3. Swirl with a bamboo skewer. 

4. Submerge an art panel in the water and paint.

5. Remove panel with tweezers and set aside to dry.

Here's the fabulous panels.  I kept the card designs simple to show off the marbling.

Paper Smooches is hosting a color challenge for the month of June. I love color challenges! It makes card making so much easier for me when the colors are already selected. I just have to worry about design. Hello...Pinterest.

Midnight Snacks

The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is hosting a "Yummy Challenge". The most difficult part of this challenge was trying to find which snarky sentiment I wanted to use.  I have so many food related stamps that would fit!

Club Scrap released their June's collection and it's a beauty! I absolutely LOVE the fun hybrid papers and digital stamps of Firecracker.  I created this layout using June's Fiddle-Dee-Dee Design's monthly free template.
