Creative License Blog Hop

Welcome to the Club Scrap Creative License Blog Hop.  If you've arrived here from the amazingly talented Tina you're in the right place.  You can also start from the beginning at Club Scrap so you don't miss one single project.

I love the masculine images, color and feel to this kit. It just so happens to encompass one of my favorite pastimes...travel. Well...it's really about cars but that's how I like to travel.

I originally was only going to do a layout with the picture on the left. The yellows and aqua colors really set off this photo well but I couldn't come up with a design that I really liked. So I decided to use the 5 of Spades from the Idea Deck Challenge over on the Club Scrap Forum. I was a little nervous about using all those little rectangles but really loved the way the printed cardstock accented my photo.

I flicked Metallic Color Bursts on the yellow cardstock, trimmed the wheels from a printed page and used the left over pieces for the rectangles. Embossed the two plain right side panels and added wood and metal embellishments to balance out the pages. The title was created with the Creative License digital kit, printed out and fussy cut.

Club Scrap sketch, papers, digital alphabet, tags, stamps, charms.  Darice and Sizzix embossing folders. The Paper Studio wooden arrows.

The Idea Decks are wonderful tools to use when you're stuck for design ideas. There are five decks total but only a Card Making Idea deck is still available for sale.

Thank you for stopping by, please continue on to see what the dynamic Donna has created for you!

  16. fun layouts, Lisa! I love that picture, too, on the left LO. I'm a Dr. Who fan and it reminds me several shows filmed in that area a few years ago.
