Paper Smooches Picture Perfect

Happy Saturday!  Paper Smooches is hosting a Picture Perfect Challenge.  The challenge is to draw inspiration from a photo.  You can be inspired by the colors, the patterns, or the theme.

For me, the photo inspired a design.  So...my first attempt at trying to stamp two rows of images and have them line up FAILED. Then I thought...why am I doing things harder instead of smarter.  I've got stamps already designed to line up.  This set is new from Club Scrap's Woven Strands.

I used two inks on the stamp to give a little bit more interest.
Stamped and hand cut the Celtic knot, added ribbon, a title by Paper Smooches and jewel.

When I first received the Woven Strands kit from Club Scrap I immediately thought of our family reunion after seeing the stamps.  The tree and quotes were just screaming "family".  I gathered up my photos, chose the papers that complimented my photos and then found a layout in the Idea Deck that worked with my photos.  Here I chose the 5 of Clubs from Volume V. I left a few elements out and added a few of my own. I really liked the woven circles but they were 12x12, so I just cut them down to meet the 8.5x11 requirement for the directions.  I added one of my favorite quote stamps from Tahiti on the paper strips. Supplies: Woven Strands papers, quilted embellishments, jewels and stamps. Thicker alphabet, Martha Stewart punch, Queen &a…
