Finish Strong Blog Hop

Welcome to the Operation Write Home Blog Hop. Operation Write Home, a charity that has supported heroes with handmade cards since 2007, will be closing later this year. All cards need to be sent in by August 1st, so I’m helping to get the word out!

I created a few cards to send off to OWH.  One using washi tape...I love washi tape! This was my favorite.

Supplies: Club Scrap papers, ribbon, tag and stamps. Miscellaneous washi tape.

This set of cards was based upon the Operation Write Home Sketches.  I chose OWH #181.  I admit, I chose it because my friend Tricia, already had cutting instructions from the World Card Making Day Blog Hop back in 2013. I like to think smarter, not harder :)

Here are the finished cards.

Supplies: Club Scrap papers and brads, Close to My Heart stamp, washi tape.
Supplies: Club Scrap papers, brads and stamp, Sizzix die cut flower.

Supplies: Club Scrap papers, charm and stamp, Sizzix die cut star.
This set is for upcoming birthdays. The rosettes make postage a little tricky.  These cards are better off for hand-delivery.

Supplies: Club Scrap papers and stamp, Queen & Co. pearls, washi tape, rosette a gift.
Supplies: Club Scrap papers and stamp, Queen & Co. pearls, rosette a gift.
Thanks for stopping by!  If you're interested in sending cards to Operation Write Home, please see the guidelines here.

  2. I love the way you used the washi tape. I, too, love washi tape, but have a hard time using it on projects. I will definitely be CASEing that card.

  4. I love the use of the washi tape on your first card. I love how the use of the sketch with dimensions gives different looks with different papers. I am with you, I found the sketches with dimensions very easy to use and will refer back to them in the future. Great set of cards. Have a great weekend.
